What is Inner Pocket Media?

It is being built as a private photo and video library for your own server.

What does “your own server” mean?

It means the library runs on a server you choose and operate. Someone needs to look after storage, updates and recovery. Supported hardware and setup instructions will be confirmed for a release.

Can I download it today?

No build has been accepted for release, and nothing is on TestFlight. Public availability and any beta application process will be confirmed with an approved release announcement.

Which platforms are in development?

iPhone, iPad and Mac apps are in development. Android, Windows and Linux are in development. The web app is part of the current release candidate; no build has been accepted for release.

What is Nightstand?

Nightstand is in development as a separate area of the library. It cannot be opened in the current development build.

How is the current development build designed?

The current development build is designed to keep your library on a server you own, with its library databases encrypted on disk.

Can I move an existing photo library?
